Day 1: Jodhpur Arrival

 

Arrival at Jodhpur and transfer to Hotel. The second largest city of Rajasthan, Jodhpur was founded in 1459 by RaoJodha, a Rajput chief belonging to the Rathore clan. Jodhpur is also known as the "Sun City" for the bright, sunny weather it enjoys all year and the "Blue City" because most of its houses in the old city are painted indigo. Evening visit Clock Tower and local market of Jodhpur. Overnight at hotel.

 

Day 2: Jodhpur City Tour

 

After breakfast proceed to visit the Mehrangarh Fort, situated on a low sandstone Hill, including Moti-Mahal and Phool Mahal. Also visit Jaswant Thada, an imposing Marble Memoriam built in 1899 and the museum located in the Umaid Public Gardens. Overnight at hotel.

 

Day 3:Jodhpur – Jaisalmer (260 Kms)

 

After breakfast, drive to Jaisalmer. Arrive and check in at hotel later visit the manmade lake (Gadiser Lake) Rest of the Day at leisure. Overnight at hotel.

 

Day 4: Jaisalmer- Sand Dunes

 

After breakfast visit Jaisalmer. Visit the Fort, Bazars and the old mansions known as "Havelis". People still live in these ancient buildings dating from 12th to 15th century. Every house has exquisite carvings and filigreed work. Evening visit Sam / Khuri sand Dunes. Overnight at camp.

 

Day 5: Jaisalmer – Bikaner (340 kms 8 hrs)

 

Early morning after breakfast drive to Bikaner. Evening city tour of this desert city, Bikaner is bolstered by imposing walls and has a 16th century fort housing old palaces, temples and a mosque. Founded by Raja Rai Singh, the fort is distinguished by its long range of 37 pavilions, a line of balconies and aerial windows of varying designs. An enormous arched doorway leads to the Joramal Temple. The royal chapel is Har Mandir where royal weddings and births were once celebrated. visit Junagarh Fort, Karni Mata Temple, Anup Mahal, Gaj Mandir, Sheesh Mahal, Deshnok Temple and Sadual Museum. Overnight stay at Bikaner.

 

Day 06 : Bikaner– Mandawa (190 kms / 5 hrs )

 

After breakfast drive to Mandawa. On arrival transfer to hotel. Later visit Mandawa Havelies, Thakurji Temple and Local Bazar, Overnight stay at Mandawa.

 

Day 08: Mandawa to Jaipur Departure  (170 kms/ 4 Hrs)

 

After breakfast leave Jaipur for onward destination to the hometown tour ends with lifetime memories.
